DAY 01: LIMA
Reception at the airport and transfer to the selected hotel.

DAY 02: LIMA / PARACAS / ICA / LIMA

Departure from Lima to the city of Paracas by tourist bus. Upon arrival, transfer to the pier to begin a motorboat excursion to the Ballestas Islands, within the Paracas National Reserve, the most important wildlife sanctuary on the Peruvian coast. Along the way, you will be able to see the mysterious Candelabra, an ancient figure drawn on the sand. On the islands, you will see sea lions, Humboldt penguins, guano birds and impressive rock formations. After the excursion, we will continue to Ica, where we will visit El Catador winery to learn about the traditional production of wine and pisco, with a tasting included. There will be free time for lunch to enjoy typical dishes from the region. Later, we will visit the Huacachina Oasis, surrounded by palm trees and enormous dunes. We will take a walk along the promenade and visit the Huacachina Mermaid monument and the handicraft center. The adventure will continue in the desert aboard dune buggies, enjoying the scenery and practicing sandboarding. Finally, transfer to the station for the return trip to Lima and arrival at the hotel.

DAY 03: LIMA – CITY TOUR

In the morning, we will enjoy a tour of Lima, beginning in the modern and elegant residential districts of Miraflores and San Isidro.
Our first stop will be Intihuatana Park, located on the Miraflores waterfront promenade, where we will enjoy a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean.
We will continue with a panoramic view of Huaca Pucllana, an ancient pre-Inca ceremonial temple in the shape of a pyramid. We will then visit El Olivar Park and the San Isidro Financial District.
The tour will continue to the Historic Center of Lima, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991. We will visit San Martín Square and the Plaza Mayor, where the Government Palace, Lima Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace, Lima City Hall and Desamparados Station are located.
We will enter the Convent of Santo Domingo, one of the most important convents of the 17th century, which houses the relics of Saint Rose of Lima, Saint Martin de Porres and Saint John Macias.
At the end of the tour, you may choose to stay at the Indian Market, visit Larcomar or return to your hotel.

DAY 04: LIMA / CUSCO
Breakfast at the hotel.
At the scheduled time, transfer to Lima Airport to board the flight to Cusco.
Upon arrival, reception at Cusco Airport and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 05: SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS / CONNECTION TO MACHU PICCHU PUEBLO

This day is dedicated to discovering some of the most important archaeological sites of the Inca Empire, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. Our vehicle will pick you up between 7:20 and 7:50 a.m. to begin the journey to the majestic Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Our first stop will be the Písac archaeological complex, where we will visit the largest known Inca cemetery, with more than 2,000 tombs. We will admire the imposing agricultural terraces carved into the mountainside, walk through an original Inca tunnel and explore the religious area of this ancient citadel. We will spend approximately 2 hours exploring this fascinating archaeological site.
We will then head to the Písac handicraft market, famous for its colors and authenticity. We will continue to Urubamba, where we will enjoy an included buffet lunch.
In the afternoon, we will visit Ollantaytambo, an ancient Inca town that is still inhabited and is known for its colossal stone structures. We will explore the impressive ruins of the Temple of the Sun, located at the top of the formidable terraces, while learning about the strategic importance of this place during the early years of the Spanish conquest.
At the end of the visit, we will say goodbye to our guide and board the train to Machu Picchu Pueblo. Upon arrival, a member of our team will be waiting to take you to your accommodation. Later, our guide will visit you at your accommodation to provide the necessary instructions for the visit to Machu Picchu the following day.

DAY 06: MACHU PICCHU – WONDER OF THE WORLD – RETURN TO CUSCO

Visit to Machu Picchu – Wonder of the World
As previously arranged with our guide, at the indicated time we will head to the bus station, where we will begin the ascent to the majestic citadel. We will climb approximately 400 meters in elevation along a winding road for about 30 minutes until we reach the impressive Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, also known as the “Lost City of the Incas.”
Once at the citadel, we will enjoy an unforgettable landscape. Our guide will begin the tour by explaining the history, architecture and symbolism of the main areas, such as the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Area of the Sun, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and the ancient burial areas. The route followed will depend on the time and type of admission ticket assigned. On average, the guided tour lasts more than two hours.
After the visit, we will take the buses back to Machu Picchu Pueblo, where we will have free time for lunch and to explore the picturesque town, known for its welcoming atmosphere and handicraft shops. It is important to keep track of the time, as we must arrive at the train station at least 25 minutes early to board the train back to Ollantaytambo.
Upon arrival at the station, our driver will be waiting to take you back to the city of Cusco.

DAY 07: CUSCO – HUMANTAY LAKE

The adventure begins very early, with pickup from your hotel between 4:00 and 4:30 a.m. We will travel for approximately two and a half hours by tourist vehicle to the picturesque town of Mollepata, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast to recharge our energy.
We will continue by vehicle for another hour to Soraypampa (3,870 meters above sea level), the starting point of our hike. From here, we will set out on an approximately two-hour hike to the impressive Humantay Lake, located at an altitude of 4,200 meters.
Upon arrival, you will be amazed by the lake’s intense turquoise color, framed by the majestic snow-capped Humantay and Salkantay mountains, which were considered sacred by the Incas. Although the ascent may be demanding, the visual and spiritual reward will be unforgettable.
After enjoying the serenity and beauty of the area, we will begin the descent to Soraypampa, an approximately one-and-a-half-hour hike. We will then return to Mollepata to enjoy a satisfying buffet lunch. Finally, we will return to Cusco, arriving at around 6:00 p.m.

DAY 08: CUSCO – CITY TOUR AND 4 ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES

In the morning, between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m., our vehicle will pick you up to begin a fascinating tour of some of the city’s main attractions. We will visit the impressive Qorikancha, known as the Temple of the Sun, one of the most important structures from the Inca period.
We will then explore the four archaeological sites:
- Sacsayhuamán, whose name in Quechua means “satisfied falcon,” an imposing fortress built with enormous stone blocks.
- Qenqo, or “labyrinth,” a mysterious sanctuary with channels and passageways carved into the rock.
- Puca Pucara, the “Red Fortress,” which served as a checkpoint and place of refuge in Inca times.
- Tambomachay, known as the “Inca Baths,” with water fountains that may have been used for rituals and ceremonies honoring water.
We will end the tour by returning to the city of Cusco.

DAY 09: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN

Our adventure to the impressive Rainbow Mountain begins early, at 4:00 a.m., when we head south to the town of Quiquijana. Here, we will enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast, ideal for recharging our energy before continuing the tour.
We will then board our vehicle again and travel for approximately 2 hours to the starting point of the hike. Before we begin, our guide will provide important instructions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Those who prefer to make the journey on horseback may also arrange this in advance with the guide.
The hike to Vinicunca takes approximately 1 hour, during which we can admire the majestic Hatun Ritti Glacier (4,925 meters above sea level) and the incredible diversity of Andean flora and fauna. Upon reaching the famous Mountain of Seven Colors, we will have enough time to explore, take photographs and record videos of this spectacular landscape.
After enjoying the panoramic view, we will return along the same trail to the starting point, where our vehicle will take us back to Quiquijana for a buffet lunch.
After lunch, we will begin our return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 4:30 to 5:00 p.m.

DAY 10: CUSCO – DEPARTURE

Depending on your flight schedule, we will pick you up from your hotel 02 hours before your flight for the transfer to the airport.
