Our first stop will be the Písac archaeological complex, where we will visit the largest known Inca cemetery, with more than 2,000 tombs. Visit to Machu Picchu – Wonder of the World

As previously arranged with our guide, at the indicated time we will head to the bus station, where we will begin the ascent to the majestic citadel. We will climb approximately 400 meters in elevation along a winding road for about 30 minutes until we reach the impressive Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, also known as the “Lost City of the Incas.”

Once at the citadel, we will enjoy an unforgettable landscape. Our guide will begin the tour by explaining the history, architecture and symbolism of the main areas, such as the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Area of the Sun, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and the ancient burial areas. The route followed will depend on the time and type of admission ticket assigned. On average, the guided tour lasts more than two hours.

After the visit, we will take the buses back to Machu Picchu Pueblo, where we will have free time for lunch and to explore the picturesque town, known for its welcoming atmosphere and handicraft shops. It is important to keep track of the time, as we must arrive at the train station at least 25 minutes early to board the train back to Ollantaytambo.

Upon arrival at the station, our driver will be waiting to take you back to the city of Cusco.

Overnight in Cusco.

Our adventure to the impressive Rainbow Mountain begins early, at 4:00 a.m., when we head south to the town of Quiquijana. Here, we will enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast, ideal for recharging our energy before continuing the tour.

We will then board our vehicle again and travel for approximately 2 hours to the starting point of the hike. Before we begin, our guide will provide important instructions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Those who prefer to make the journey on horseback may also arrange this in advance with the guide.

The hike to Vinicunca takes approximately 1 hour, during which we can admire the majestic Hatun Ritti Glacier (4,925 meters above sea level) and the incredible diversity of Andean flora and fauna. Upon reaching the famous Mountain of Seven Colors, we will have enough time to explore, take photographs and record videos of this spectacular landscape.

After enjoying the panoramic view, we will return along the same trail to the starting point, where our vehicle will take us back to Quiquijana for a buffet lunch.

After lunch, we will begin our return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 4:30 to 5:00 p.m.
