Magical Essence 5 Days / 4 Nights is a complete journey through the highlights of Cusco and its rich Inca heritage. The program combines the exploration of the breathtaking Sacred Valley of the Incas, featuring iconic sites such as Pisac and Ollantaytambo, with a visit to the legendary Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
It also includes a guided city tour of Cusco and nearby archaeological sites like Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, and Tambomachay. With an overnight stay in Machu Picchu Pueblo, this itinerary offers the perfect blend of history, culture, and unforgettable Andean landscapes.
DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN CUSCO
Upon arrival at Alejandro Velasco Astete Airport in the city of Cusco, our driver will be waiting for you with a sign bearing your name to transfer you to your hotel.

DAY 02: SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS / CONNECTION TO MACHU PICCHU TOWN
This day is dedicated to discovering some of the most important archaeological centers of the Inca Empire, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. Our transportation will pick you up between 7:20 a.m. and 7:50 a.m. to begin the journey to the majestic Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Our first stop will be the archaeological complex of Pisac, where we will visit the largest known Inca cemetery, with more than 2,000 tombs. You will admire impressive agricultural terraces carved into the mountains, walk through an original Inca tunnel, and explore the religious area of this ancient citadel. We will spend approximately 2 hours exploring this fascinating site.
Then, we will head to the Pisac artisan market, famous for its color and authenticity. We will continue to Urubamba, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch included.
In the afternoon, we will visit Ollantaytambo, an ancient Inca town still inhabited today, known for its massive stone constructions. We will explore the impressive ruins of the Temple of the Sun, located high on the terraces, while learning about its strategic importance during the early years of the Spanish conquest.
After the visit, we will say goodbye to our guide and board the train to Machu Picchu Town. Upon arrival, a member of our team will meet you and take you to your accommodation. Later, your guide will visit your hotel to provide instructions for the next day’s visit to Machu Picchu.

DAY 03: MACHU PICCHU – WONDER OF THE WORLD – RETURN TO CUSCO
Visit to Machu Picchu – Wonder of the World
According to prior coordination with your guide, at the indicated time we will head to the bus station to begin the ascent to the majestic citadel. We will climb approximately 400 meters via a zigzag road for about 30 minutes until reaching the impressive Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, also known as “The Lost City of the Incas.”
Once there, you will enjoy an unforgettable landscape. Your guide will begin the tour explaining the history, architecture, and symbolism of the main sectors, including the Main Plaza, Circular Tower, Sacred Sun Area, Royal Quarters, Temple of the Three Windows, and ancient burial areas. The route will depend on your assigned entrance schedule and circuit. The guided tour lasts approximately more than two hours.
After the visit, we will take the bus back down to Machu Picchu Town, where you will have free time for lunch and to explore the picturesque town, known for its welcoming atmosphere and artisan shops. Please be mindful of the time, as you must arrive at the train station at least 25 minutes before departure for the return train to Ollantaytambo.
Upon arrival, our driver will be waiting to transfer you back to Cusco.

DAY 04: CUSCO CITY TOUR – VISIT TO FOUR ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES
At the indicated time (approximately between 09:00 and 09:30 a.m.), our transportation will pick you up to begin the tour.
We will visit four of the most emblematic archaeological sites located on the outskirts of Cusco:
- Sacsayhuamán, whose name in Quechua means “Satisfied Falcon,” an impressive ceremonial complex with massive stone walls showcasing Inca engineering.
- Qenqo, meaning “Labyrinth,” an ancient ceremonial center carved into rock with underground passages and altars.
- Puca Pucara, or “Red Fortress,” likely used as a military and control post during the Inca period.
- Tambomachay, known as the “Inca Baths,” famous for its beautiful water fountains and connection to water worship.
At the end of the tour, we will return to the city of Cusco.
