In this program we will visit Machu Picchu on a 2-day, 1-night tour. We will be able to enjoy the wonderful Inca city and the great landscapes of the Sacred Valley while traveling by train along one of the most beautiful routes in the world.

DAY 01: CUSCO – AGUAS CALIENTES
We will begin our service with pick-up from your hotel in Cusco in the morning. We will travel to the Sacred Valley, to the district of Ollantaytambo, where we will board the train to Aguas Calientes (also known as Machu Picchu Town).
Upon arrival, a hotel representative will be waiting to escort you to your accommodation and assist with check-in. The rest of the day will be free for you to explore the town, visit the handicraft market, enjoy the hot springs, or simply relax.
In the afternoon, at a previously coordinated time, our guide will visit your hotel to welcome you and provide an informative briefing about the visit to Machu Picchu the following day.
Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

DAY 02: MACHU PICCHU – WONDER OF THE WORLD – RETURN TO CUSCO
Visit to Machu Picchu – Wonder of the World
According to prior coordination with our guide, at the indicated time we will head to the bus station, from where we will begin the ascent to the majestic citadel. We will climb approximately 400 meters in altitude along a zigzag road for about 30 minutes until reaching the impressive Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, also known as “The Lost City of the Incas.”
Once in the citadel, we will enjoy an unforgettable landscape. Our guide will begin the tour explaining the history, architecture, and symbolism of the main sectors, such as the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Area, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows, and the ancient funerary areas. The circuit to follow will depend on the assigned schedule and type of entrance ticket. On average, the guided tour lasts more than two hours.
After the visit, we will take the buses back to Machu Picchu Town, where we will have free time for lunch and to explore the picturesque town, known for its welcoming atmosphere and artisan shops. It is important to be attentive to the time, as we must arrive at the train station at least 25 minutes in advance to board the return train to Ollantaytambo.
Upon arrival at the station, our driver will be waiting to take you back to the city of Cusco.
