Information:
The tour begins with hotel pick-up between 08:30 a.m. and 09:00 a.m. Once the group is complete, we will head south of Cusco.
Our first stop will be the impressive Tipón Water Temple, an archaeological site renowned for its advanced hydraulic constructions, which still function today and demonstrate the Incas’ high level of engineering knowledge.
Next, we will visit the Pikillacta Archaeological Site, an ancient pre-Inca city and administrative center of the Wari culture, one of the most important civilizations before the Inca expansion. Afterward, we will head to Andahuaylas, where we will visit the Church of San Pedro Apóstol, known as the “Sistine Chapel of America.” This colonial temple stands out for its baroque architecture and impressive murals, making it one of the greatest treasures of religious art in Peru.
