DAY 01 AREQUIPA
Arrive to Arequipa City and transfer to your selected hotel
CITY TOUR – SANTA CATALINA CONVENT
At 14:00 hrs. we start our tour visiting The Main Square (Plaza de Armas), one of the most beautiful in Peru; the Cathedral, representative of the XIX Century Peruvian architecture, home to countless treasures in gold and silver; and the Church of the Compañía, an ancient Jesuit temple, probably the most important in Arequipa based on history and tradition, where you can see the beautiful facade full of carved columns featuring flowers, birds, spirals and crowns. We then visit the Santa Catalina Convent, a “small city” from the XVII Century, open to the public since 1970 after 400 years of isolation. Here you will be transported 400 years into the past, wandering through the countless yards and gardens, kitchen and slave quarters and the stone watersheds. We return to the hotel. Overnight in Arequipa

DAY 02: AREQUIPA / COLCA
DAY TRIP TO THE COLCA GORGE
Early in the morning, departure to our trip towards Yura to enter Pampa Cañahuas, where we will visit the vicuñas and the backside of the Chachani, Misti and PichuPichuvolcanoes, going into the Pagodas where we will admire the geological features of the area. Complimentary lunch follows. We then continue to the Bofedales, where we will feast our eyes bird watching the local and emigrational species. Then we will reach the (Volcano Outlook Post) Mirador de los Volcanes, to admire the Cordillera del Chila and all the volcanoes, reaching Chivay around 13.30 to check into our hotel. For your free afternoon, we recommend visiting the Calera Springs for some relax to then go back to the hotel in Colca and Overnight in Colca.

DAY 03: COLCA / PUNO
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning we will visit the Cross of the Condor, to appreciate the depth of the gorge and the magnificent condors in flight. We then visit the Pinchollo, Achoma and Yanque towns while stopping on the different lookout posts along the way to have a different view of the Gorge. In these towns we will visit Colcas, hanging tombs and Stone carvings, reaching Chivay for lunch (inclusive) to then start our trip to the City of Puno with 4M Bus Company at 13:15 boarding at the Hotel La Paskana in Chivay. We will make 10-minute stops at the Patapampa Volcano Lookout (4950 masl),  Chucura Volcano and Lagunillas for lake and bird watching.
19:30 Arrive to Puno bus station and transfer to your selected hotel. Overnight in Puno

DAY 04: FULL DAY: URU FLOATING ISLANDS AND TAQUILE ISLAND
Breakfast at the hotel. 7 a.m. pick up from the hotel towards the pier to board an outboard powered boat heading to the Uru Floating Islands 30 minutes away. After a brief 40 minute visit, we will continue out tour to the Taquile Island. Its inhabitants dedicate themselves mainly to agriculture, fishing and crafts, as they live following old Inca customs and laws, ever present in their tradition, religious rituals and folklore such as cohabitation before marriage (Sirvinacuy) and the tribute to the land (Pachamama). Traditional lunch included. After lunch we will enjoy 2 hours to visit the town craft center and take amazing panoramic shots. After that, return to Puno and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Puno

DAY 05: PUNO / CUZCO
Breakfast at the hotel.
06:30 a.m. Pick up and transport to bus station.
07:00 a.m. Departure for Cuzco by bus through the El Collao Plateau, stopping at Ayaviri, an important textile center, to visit the Kalasaya Temple, ruins of the ancient Pucara Culture. We will also stop along the way in Rachi, where we can admire an Inca Sanctuary build by Inca Pachacutec himself in dedication to Wiracocha, the greatest Inca God. The sanctuary features a central stone wall displaying a rich Inca architecture. Walls are made of giant adobe bricks and the structure also possesses 2 circular side columns. Around the temple we find several structures once used as living quarters or storage. 70 kilometers down the road we will pass the La Raya Ranch, where we will experience herds of vicuñas y llamas. The trip will also take us to Wacarpay Lake, which offers mesmerizing images of mountains reflected in the water mirror. We continue to the wonderful town of Andahuaylillas to visit the Church of San Pedro de Andahuaylillas, also known as the Sistine Chapel of the Americas due to its polychromatic ceiling. Buffet lunch in a quiet countryside restaurant to taste the local cuisine. Arrive to Cusco bus station and transfer to your selected hotel. Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 06: CUZCO
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning at leisure.
In the afternoon, start the city tour and nearby ruins and sites. The tour features the impressive colonial city built on Inca grounds. We will visit the Cathedral, which showcases a Renaissance architecture and “al fresco” paintings from the “Cusco School “, KORICANCHA, or Templodel Sol (Temple of the Sun). Continuing with the tour we will visit the four nearby ruins: SACSAYHUAMAN (the great fortress, located 5 Km. From the city), QENQO (sacred amphitheater for worshipping the Puma God, where human sacrifices took place), PUCAPUCARA (called “The Red Fortress” due to the color of its rocks during sunset) and TAMBOMACHAY (temple for worshipping the God of Water). Return to your hotel. Overnight in Cusco

DAY 07: MACHUPICCHU
Early in the morning, transfer to the train station to begin our trip to Machu Picchu. We arrive to Aguas Calientes train station and walking transfer Puente Ruinas, where we take a to bus till the Lost City of the Incas, “Machu Picchu”, the most famous example of Inca architecture, discovered in 1911 by Hiram Bingham. We will enjoy a guided tour through the main features: The Lookout, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Intihuatana (sun clock), Main Square, etc. We finish the visit by taking the bus down to Aguas Calientes for lunch Afternoon departure from Aguas Calientes Station by train to Cusco. Arrive to Cusco and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Cusco

DAY 08: CUSCO
At the proper time, transfer out.
